Franklin Dance Team is selling FSA Hats! 

Order forms will be passed out during lunch. All hats are $15. Money & Order forms will be collected before school in the gym and cafeteria.

 

If you signed up to try-out for track. There are sheets posted in the gym, the health room and outside Coach McCallum's class with student names according to their grade level who are still in need of a sport physical. You must have a physical on file before February 21st; the first day of try-outs is February 26th.

 

MADNESS is coming to Franklin STEAM Academy.  Math Madness is a  joint initiative between American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and AreteLabs.  Math Madness is emerging as one of the premiere math competition events in the United States, soon to be world-wide. Put your math skills to the test by competing against hundreds of middle schools across the country. This contest is open to EVERYONE!  If you have never tried an academic competition, this is the one to try!  There is an individual and team component.  We will compete once a week for 5 weeks starting mid February.  The competition is all on-line and lasts 30 minutes.  You may compete in all 5 weeks or only compete in some of them.  If you are interested, please let your math teacher know.  You must sign up by FEBRUARY 2.  Questions?  See Mrs. Jones

Introducing the No Bullying Zone! Eighth grade students have begun a new lunch club aimed at eliminating bullying. We’ll be meeting during lunch on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in Ms. Higgs’s room (207). Come join us if you’ve experienced bullying and want to talk about it or if you’d like to help out others who are being bullied. Our first meeting is Feb 7th.

 

8th Grade My name is Coach Monroe! I am the head dance coach at Central High School.  If you are interested in dance at Central next year – we will have a meeting during lunch on Friday February 9th – it will be in Mrs. Saveley room.
 

 

NJHS will begin selling donuts again this Friday, January 26thin the morning outside the cafeteria. 

 

 

Scholastic Bowl tryouts begin this week. You can pick up a complete schedule from Mrs. Jones. The

*Coats- 6th Graders will use their lockers. 7th & 8th Graders will put their coats in Ms. Wise's Room(107) You are to take your valuables with you. The room will be LOCKED Until Activity Night is Over.
