The Principal's Scholars Program (PSP) is offering classes for Spring 2019 for 6th-8th grade students. Information/applications are in the counseling office, Room 111, for students who are interested.


8th Grade Students:  Central & Centennial Counselors will be returning to assist in finishing up registration for your 9th grade classes on Thursday, Feb. 7th.  You must visit your Home Access Account to choose your courses.  In the total credits, you should have 7.0 Credits selected and 1.0 Alternate Credits selected.  If you need help logging into Home Access, or choosing your classes, please request to see Mrs. Monahan in Room 111.  The visit with the High School Counselors should be a brief check to make sure you have everything you need in Home Access, so please make sure you spend some time making your requests before the counselors come on Feb. 7th.



Social Probation Challenge!!

Attention Franklin Knights: For the remainder of the school year we will be doing a Social Probation Challenge between the 3 grade levels. The grade level that has the least amount of students on Social Probation at the end of each month will win a snack during lunch! The Challenge Starts Today!!

Attention Franklin Knights: Our February PBIS Incentive is The Volleyball Tournament on Fri., Feb 22nd during your PE & Encore times!! This is a chance to round up your friends to form a team (6 players), go against other teams, make it to the championship game and battle it out with your grade level teachers!! 

Cost to Participate: 20 Knight Bucks Per Team (Non Participants will be able to purchase concessions and enjoy the games as the audience.)

The Day of the Tournament:

8th Grade: Go to your 1st hour class for attendance.

7th Grade: Go to your 3rd hour class for attendance.

6th Grade: Go to your 8th hour class for attendance.

Thursday February 7 is the AUDITION CLINIC (3:00-4:00 ). Come get the forms, songs, and scenes for auditions!

Tuesday Feb 12 OR Thursday Feb 14 will be AUDITIONS (3:00-5:00). Choose one day to come audition. Sign up sheets will be outside Mrs Taber’s room on Friday February 8!!

All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who are planning on turning in UNI records requests--Franklin's deadline to receive those is Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, and need to be turned in to Mrs. Hall in the main office. Records requests turned in after that date will not be able to be completed.


6th Grade Students - You will be receiving the end of the year field trip guidelines for attending. You need to take these home to your parents/guardians. Please keep in mind that if you receive 2 safety coded DRs or 15 Doc Logs you will NOT be able to attend the field trip. Please see Mr. Buhnerkempe if you have any questions about your discipline.
