It's National Volunteer Week! Thank you to all of our Franklin Volunteers. Each week you come in and help out our teachers and students, and we are so grateful for you and all that you do!
If you submitted an application for TECH CREW for “High School Musical”, you’re in! Please meet briefly in Mrs Taber’s room after school TODAY MONDAY!!
"Jocks" for High School Musical-- you have after-school rehearsals now! We need to get you added into the entire play. Be in the gym:
• Tuesday 4/17 and Wednesday 4/18 until 4:00.
Then the week before the performances (called TECH WEEK):
• Monday 4/23 and Tuesday 4/24- until 5
• Wednesday 4/25 and Thursday 4/26- until 6
Centennial High School COLOR GUARD will be forming for next year with an open practice. You are invited! This first meeting will be from 10:00AM to Noon on Saturday, April 21st. Meet at the north end of the Centennial High School parking lot by the band trailers. In case of rain, we will meet in the gym. 6th and 7th Grade Boys The next boys' basketball open gym will be on April 30 from 5-6:30 p.m.
If you are on the track team, stop by Mr. McCallum's classroom 105 at the end of the day for the line-up. Our next meet is tomorrow 4/17 in Rantoul 4:30 PM.
National Day of Silence is coming soon! We sign up in solidarity with our LGBT+ friends and classmates who feel unsafe speaking out. More information this week!

All 6th grade students who have not had their required 6th grade dental exam, it needs to completed and their dental form turned into the office by May 11th, 2018.
Summer School Program applications are now available in the counseling office for middle school offerings for this summer. Programs include: Mission Possible (STEAM focus on Science and experimentation), Dancing through the Summer (STEAM focus on dance), Summer Math Boost Camp and the SMART Program. Stop in and see your counselor to pick-up an application or get more information about these programs. Applications are due to your counselor by May 1st.
SOLHOT will meet Friday, April 20th in the Library
Looking for something fun to do after school Wednesdays? Come to Spalding Park for “After School Hangout from 3-4pm. Hosted by volunteer extraordinaire, Adam Blackman. Each week we will play games and have fun for an hour after school. Meet under the pavilion by the playground. See you Wednesday!
