Keep being READY, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE

The final  open gyms for Franklin boys’ basketball will take place Today  Wednesday,  May 17th, from 3-5 p.m.

The Franklin Track and Field Team competed at sectionals this past weekend.  The team came away with many personal bests for the season and also numerous state qualifiers. The state qualifiers are:

Ayah Mustafa in the 100 hurdles

Morgan Browning in the 100 and 200

7th Grade Girls 4x1 meter relay of Kayln Barker, Braelyn Alexander, Nour Hijab, Kinsley Stillman, and Folashade Owojori

8th grade girls 4x2 meter relay of Halimah Mustafa, Morgan Browning, Taylor Davis, Ayah Mustafa, and Melodee LeShoure

8th grade girls 4x4 meter relay of Kinsley Stillman, Halimah Mustafa, Taylor Davis, Ayah Mustafa, and Hannah Stickels

8th grade boys 4x2 meter relay of Jeremiah Lee, Rohan Mandhan, Bryce Atteberry, Jacob Tidrick, and Jevyn Bell. 

The Franklin coaching staff would like to say congratulations to all of our student athletes this year!

 All choir students, past and present: The last choir rehearsal of the year is Thursday, May 18th at 3-3:30pm to learn the song for 8th Grade Promotion. Hope to see all of you there.

The student vs. staff game is tomorrow, right after school! All are welcome to attend. Please be sure to secure a ride for about 4:30 p.m. There is a list of those students who signed up and are eligible to play - 6th grade outside of counseling office; 7th grade outside of Mr. Seaton's class; 8th grade outside of Ms. Kim's class. WAIVERS MUST BE TURNED IN TO PLAY!  

Concessions will be sold at the Student vs staff game tomorrow.

The Central High School Swim coaches would like to invite the public to an open swim camp for ages 8-18 at Indian Acres swim club. This camp will be four days long starting Monday May 22nd through Thursday May 25th and will focus on swimming technique that can help any level swimmer reach the next level. There will be two sessions each day 4-5pm will be ages 8-13 and 5-6pm will be high school swimmers (ages 14-18). This camp is designed to jumpstart your swimmer's summer and to introduce the swimmers to coaches for their high school future and current high school careers. There are flyers outside the main office if you are interested! 

Reminder to 6th Grade Parents: If you have not already turned in your students Dental Exam, please do so to the Main Office. They are due by May 15th.
