U4 POWER MOMENT: U of I students create adaptive toys for essential skills classroom

Carle Illinois College of Medicine students visited four Unit 4 schools to deliver adaptive toys to students in essential skills classrooms. The group, Innovators in Action, adapted bubble-blowing machines with 3D-printed larger buttons. The adaptation gives the students an extra level of control turning the bubble-blowing machine on and off. We are so grateful for the thoughtfulness and creativity of these U of I students and look forward to continuing our relationship with Innovators in Action.
